Hello
The game has a little bit of a learning curve. At the bottom left of the screen you will see a paw. Click it. Scroll through tabs until you see "Chat". Click it. You can ask people on the global chat. You can also type "/help" in the chat to go to the SH2 Official Help Server. In terminal, use "-help" for a list of commands and their uses.
