Alright! so, the waterwall is basically what you use to crack other peoples firewalls. For example to be able to crack a lvl 100 firewall you would need a lvl 100 or higher waterwall. So, a higher lvl firewall would help defend you and a higher lvl waterwall will help you crack into other people's firewalls. and a pulsesensor determines how quick you can pulse someone. so the higher the level the faster you can crack people.

Thanks for the info! Looking forward to playing :)
Another question... could you breakdown the differences of WW/FW/Pulse? From my understanding (I asked in chat but then I forgot again haha) WW = Must have higher than IP's FW to be able to crack PW FW = Must have higher than attackers WW to prevent a crack Pulse = ?? |

upgrading CPU makes the CPU tasks go by faster and upgrading network makes network tasks faster. for example: uploading a file with a low lvl CPU would take 100s but with a higher lvl CPU would take 10s. and same goes for network. and HDD/external is purly for space.

as far as i know yes upgrading the cpu and network make the corresponding processes go faster but using the tracer drasticly slows down network processes.
