I just started playing and I've already been hacked. Currently reseting as I type. What are some good steps to prevent hacks from happening in the future?
ps. as soon as i saw their log it was too late, i'm a newb and they're the pro so how can i level the field?

Some good things to do is mainly don't get hacked. But all jokes aside your going to want to do the daily missions. They provide boosters for you one including "Unhackable" to which nobody can hack you for 10 minutes.

@Kohryu Crap advice, my friend I would just delete hard drive and reset IP in THAT exact way and you need to make miners and upload onto NPC's and mine.
